facebookHello friends!

Welcome to my website. From here you can sign up for my newsletter, find me on Facebook and Twitter, shoot me an email, or just read about my books. So, pull up a chair and make yourself at home. Have a virtual latte while you’re at it. It’s on me.

Be on the Lookout for TWO New Releases!

“The Accidental Bride” (Jan. 3, 2012) Book 2, the Big Sky Series

Have you ever run into your first love—you know, the one who taught you the meaning of the word “love”? Well, that’s what happens to Shay—and the title only hints at all the chaos in store for her!

I know authors aren’t supposed to have favorites, but just between you and me, “The Accidental Bride” is mine. I fell in love with Shay and Travis, and I hope you will too!

Read the first chapter here.

“Smitten” (Dec. 20, 2011) is a collaboration with my BFFs Colleen Coble, Kristin Billerbeck, and Diann Hunt. The story is about a logging town called Smitten, Vermont that’s about to die . . . unless 4 friends come up with way to save it.

Capitalizing on the town’s name, they decide to turn Smitten into the region’s premier honeymoon destination, but the men of the community want nothing to do with that!

The book includes a “Conversation over Coffee” with the authors, discussion questions, and of course, a wonderful happily-ever-after. This fall we signed a contract for 2 more Smitten novels!

Here we are signing the first contract with Thomas Nelson Publisher Allen Arnold, editor Ami McConnell, and agent, Karen Solem.

Family Stuff

We had a wonderful opportunity last summer to visit the Holy Land! We saw the Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Capernaum, and Jerusalem. We all came away with fresh perspectives on the life of Christ. Here we are by the Sea of Galilee, near the spot where Jesus walked on water.

Changes abound this year in the Hunter household! In the fall we took our oldest son Justin to college—4 ½ hours away! Here we are just before we left him. We survived, but not without a few tears. He’s doing well, coming home for visits now and then, and I only go through a few tissues when he leaves.

Keeping in Touch

I’d love to hear from you, so feel free to shoot me an email! If you want to be reminded about new releases, join my newsletter, and if you want to hear from me more than that (are you SURE?) friend me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter! The links are at the top of the page.

Blessings!
Denise
